InspireME conference

Inspire Me conference is a conference that you can her inspiring stories told by successful professionals and entrepreneurs. This year speakers shared their stories about successful carriers and business endeavors. We were here too.

Pula is not a big city, but Inspire Me conference was big, big and exciting. Big if you listen, if you are open-minded, and if you want to learn from successful entrepreneurs. When I say entrepreneurs, I do not only mean only tech entrepreneurs, as it is modern those days, this year we had florists, writers, fitness trainers, photographers. And yes, you can learn from all of them.

I must admit, there was some technical difficulties, nothing like show stoppers, but still annoying, for example, PA system issues, but there was a fantastic Ivan Šarić who moderated conference, very professional, and in a very entertaining way. He even sang Rocky theme when fitness guy was climbing on stage. Priceless :-)

We enjoyed a lot of lectures of Marko Bolković Visualia, who talked about some mission impossible projects he did with his colleagues, we liked a lot Hassan Abdelghiani's lecture about his beginnings, and his amazing projects and accomplishments. There was also a very inspiring lecture from Selma Smajić, who talked with such ease, about how she built her floral empire like this is not a big deal. You can read more about Selma here. There was a nice lecture from Alis Marić, women who have left unemployed with age of 50 andstarted to do what she like her whole life, read books. She started when she got the first award for writing a review of book Män som hatar kvinnor ("Men Who Hate Women"), after that she started @citajknjigu FB page which she has almost 400 likes, and later she started Read the Book portal Čitaj knjigu and rest is history. But also a reminder that if you do something with passion, you can be successful. And if you turn your passion and hobby into the profession, you do not have to work any more day for the rest your life.

We are waiting for next Inspire ME conference, this one was great.
